Baptist Health is seeking a registered nurse for the 5 South Observation Unit in Kentucky. The role supports the Emergency Department and telemetry services, caring for low-acuity patients needing short-term monitoring and evaluation before potential inpatient admission.

The position suits nurses with Telemetry, ED, ICU/CCU, ambulatory care experience or those comfortable with basic phlebotomy skills. Training available for ACLS/BCLS.

Formación

• Active Kentucky RN license required; BCLS and ACLS training available.
• NIH preferred.
• Experience in Telemetry, Emergency Department, ICU/CCU or ambulatory care.

Responsabilidades

• Performs thorough assessments and ongoing reassessments to guide patient care
• Develops individualized, evidence-based plans of care
• Provides care aligned with organizational policies, professional standards, and the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts interventions as needed
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, clinical reasoning, organization, and leadership in all aspects of care
• Utilizes blood-draw skills when needed to support timely lab collection (not a required qualification)
