Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN per IDFPR.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• College diploma in Nursing.
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs unit-specific nursing duties and implements care plans.
• Documents care accurately for care team integration.
• Initial patient assessment and plans of care developed per unit standards.
• Delivers nursing interventions and updates plans as needed.
• Ensures patient and staff safety by reporting hazards.
• Communicates with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Manages admission/discharge and medication administration using the 5 Rights.
• Responds promptly to call lights and triage patient needs.
• Supports ongoing professional development and competency requirements.
