Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a full-time RN for the 35400 Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital - Observation Unit. The role involves 3 12-hour shifts, 7a–7p with rotating weekends and holidays, and utilizes nursing processes to deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safety and quality improvement.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in councils and governance, and maintain certification while delivering compassionate care across age groups.

Formación

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Licensed RN with multi-state or state license to practice in required locations.
• Experience with nursing process, patient assessment, and care planning.
• Proficient in electronic health records and care coordination.
• Commitment to safety, ethics, and evidence-based practice.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and effective communication within the unit.
• Document accurately in EHR and participate in continuous improvement.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols and scope.
• Demonstrate professional development and maintain required certifications.
