Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Clinical Observation Unit. This 28-bed unit handles outpatient observation patients with stays under 24 hours.

You will provide and coordinate nursing care, applying evidence-based practice and strong communication while ensuring patient safety and quality care across the care continuum. This is a full-time night shift position with 12-hour shifts, 6 shifts in a 2-week period.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
