Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is seeking an Observation Partner for the 11pm-7:30am shift on a part-time basis. The role involves sitting with and assisting patients to ensure safety and well-being, ambulation support, meals, and continuous observation in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, notifying care providers when assistance is needed, and performing walking rounds. The position requires a commitment of 48 hours per month, with 12 hours on weekends.

• Assist patients with ambulation needs which may require the use of a gait belt.
• Assist patients with meals/feeding needs.
• Committed to work availability of 48 hours per month, 12 hours of which is on Saturday or Sunday.
• Documents basic patient observations.
• Notifies appropriate patient care provider of the need for patient assistance.
• Performs walking rounds continuously to assure safety and well being of patients.
• Sits with and/or accompanies patient continuously to assure safety and well being.

Compensation

Estimated Compensation Range: $16.54 - $25.24. Pay based on experience.
