Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to assist patients with ambulation and meals/feeding as needed.
• Commitment to working 48 hours per month, with at least 12 hours on Saturday or Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ambulation needs, including use of a gait belt.
• Assist patients with meals/feeding needs.
• Document basic patient observations.
• Notify appropriate care providers when patient assistance is needed.
• Conduct walking rounds to ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Sit with or accompany patients continuously to support safety.
