Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support RNs and the interdisciplinary team in delivering safe, quality patient care in Maryland. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and adhering to regulatory requirements.

The CNA will participate in ongoing learning, maintain confidentiality, and help ensure smooth unit operations while floating to other units as needed and reporting patient responses to the nurse.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required by Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
• Ability to use technology and equipment for job duties.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and team in safe delivery of quality patient care.
• Perform ADL support including bathing, grooming and nutrition prep.
• Record routine data and report changes to the nurse.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and safety; assist in rounding.
• Follow regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
