Job summary

Allaire Rehab and Nursing in Freehold Township, NJ, seeks compassionate Companion Aides to join a growing team. This full-time role requires assisting with front desk duties, helping residents with daily activities, and providing 1:1 companionship.

Shifts include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am; weekend options available. Benefits include 401k matching after 1 year, PTO, and insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assists at front desk duties as needed.
• Passing of ice waters each shift
• Passing of snacks as needed
• Making the beds and keeping rooms neat for new admissions
• New Admission - helping them feel at home and settled in their room
• Accompany residents to appointments or outings
• Maintain open communication between clients and their families as a liaison
• Companionship 1:1 if assigned as needed
• Assist during meal time with passing, feeding and collecting of trays

Observation Aide Requirements

• Assisting with the front desk duties as needed
• Passing of ice waters each shift
• Passing of snacks as needed
• Making the beds and assisting with the rooms remaining "neat" that the new admission rooms have essential needs including call-bells, remotes, fully made beds with pillows, etc.
• New Admission - assisting them to feel at home and settled in their room (unpacking and gathering clothing that will need labeling)
• Accompany the residents on their needed appointments or outings
• Maintain open communication between clients and their families as a liaison
• Companionship 1:1 if assigned as needed
• Assist during meal time with passing, feeding and collecting of the trays
