Job summary

Allaire Rehab and Nursing, a newly renovated nursing home in New Jersey, seeks Companion Aides to join our growing team. Shifts include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, with weekend options available.

Qualifications

• Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect (communication, empathy)
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Willingness to assist residents with meals, mobility, and daily tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist front desk duties as needed
• Serve ice water and snacks each shift
• Make beds and keep rooms neat for new admissions
• Help new residents feel at home and settled in their rooms
• Accompany residents to appointments or outings
• Maintain open communication between residents and families
