Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved 24-month Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT and USDOE.
• Documented education, training, and competency in Ultrasound.
• Registry in ARDMS within ~1 year of hire; ARRT Radiography certification required; other ARRT modalities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Corroborates patient history with procedure and documents for licensed practitioner.
• Prepares patients for procedures and provides instructions to obtain desired results.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and selects appropriate anatomic program to use.
• Evaluates ultrasound images for quality and maintains PACS/RIS records.
