Job summary

Women's Care in Tampa, FL is seeking a PRN Sonographer specializing in OB/GYN ultrasound to join our regional float pool. The role requires travel to clinics within the local region and performing routine and specialized exams with 3D-4D capabilities.

Candidates must hold a valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification, a high school diploma, and at least two years of OB/GYN experience. Excellent patient interaction and data entry in eCW are essential; travel is a requirement.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.

Job Details: Job Location: Tampa Region (Recruiting) - Tampa, FL 33607, Position Type: PRN, Job Category: Clinical Staff, At Women's Care, our employees work Monday through Friday, no weekends! The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. This is a PRN position within our float pool and will require travel to clinics within the local region on an as-needed basis.

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OBGYN experience required.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system, eCW a plus.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
• Must be willing and able to travel to various clinics within the local region.
• A minimum of 2 shifts per month is required.
