Job summary

Women's Care seeks a PRN Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations and document findings across multiple clinics in the local region.

You will conduct nuchal translucency and 3D-4D scans, evaluate image quality, and enter data into the EMR. Travel to clinics as needed, maintain professional standards, and participate in team meetings and development activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OBGYN experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel to various clinics within the local region.
• Minimum 2 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings.
• Includes nuchal translucency scans per standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys and 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates image quality and interprets captured data.
• Documents/updates information in the EMR (eCW a plus).
• Represents clinic in a professional manner.

Job description

At Women's Care, our employees work Monday through Friday, no weekends! Today, our organization has grown to over 100 locations in numerous states by remaining true to its mission of improving the health and lives of our patients every day.The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. This is a PRN position within our float pool and will require travel to clinics within the local region on an as-needed basis.Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.Completes fetal surveys.Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.Represents clinic in a professional manner.
