Job summary

Women's Care in Arizona is seeking a PRN Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams, including nuchal translucency, fetal surveys, hysterosonograms, and 3D-4D scans across local clinics.

This role requires a high school diploma, OB/GYN ARDMS certification, at least two years of OB/GYN experience, travel to multiple sites, and a courteous, team-oriented approach. You will document findings in the EMR, maintain HIPAA compliance, and support patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OB/GYN experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
• Must be willing and able to travel to various clinics within the local region.
• A minimum of 2 shifts per month is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient's electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women's Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Details: Job Location: Arizona Region (Recruiting) - Phoenix, AZ 85012, Position Type: PRN, Job Category: Clinical Staff, At Women's Care, our employees work Monday through Friday, no weekends! The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. This is a PRN position within our float pool and will require travel to clinics within the local region on an as-needed basis.
