Job summary

Women’s Care in Tampa, FL seeks a PRN Sonographer to perform ultrasound exams, including nuchal translucency and 3D-4D scans, across local clinics.

You will document findings in the EMR, maintain high quality imaging, and travel to clinics as needed, upholding HIPAA and patient-centered care.

Applicants must have ARDMS OB/GYN certification and at least two years of OB/GYN experience; flexibility and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent OB/GYN experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system (eCW a plus).
• Willingness and ability to travel to various clinics within the local region.
• A minimum of 2 shifts per month may be required.

Responsibilities

Today, our organization has grown to over 100 locations in numerous states by remaining true to its mission of improving the health and lives of our patients every day.The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. This is a PRN position within our float pool and will require travel to clinics within the local region on an as-needed basis.Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.Completes fetal surveys.Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.Represents clinic in a professional manner.
