Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an OBGYN Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care as an licensed non-physician healthcare provider. The PA will be credentialed, privileged, and billed as an independent provider with delegated prescriptive authority.

The role requires a TX PA license, NCCPA certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire. The position involves inpatient/outpatient care within the governed scope of practice and team collaboration.

Formación

• Graduate of an Accredited PA program.
• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas.
• NCCPA certification.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Less than 1 year of experience is noted in the qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patients with comprehensive or problem-focused exams and histories.
• Orders and interprets labs and diagnostic tests to assess health needs.
• Prescribes medications and therapies per supervision and policy.
• Plans and implements patient treatment plans with physician collaboration.
• Counsels patients and families on medications, nutrition, and health promotion.
