Job summary

adelphimedicalstaffing is seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology physician for locum tenens coverage in Topeka, Kansas. The role covers inpatient and outpatient services with a shared 1:6 call rotation, and requires experience in general OB/GYN, including labor and delivery and gynecologic surgery.

The assignment runs 10/01/2026 – 12/31/2026 with potential extension. Epic is the EMR, and the clinic operates 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a beeper in-house call arrangement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Kansas medical license and be board eligible or certified in obstetrics & gynecology.
• Active DEA registration is required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, ATLS certifications required.
• Experience in general OB/GYN practice with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient OB/GYN clinic coverage.
• Participate in shared 1:6 call rotation.
• Perform obstetric and gynecologic procedures including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Manage labor, delivery, ER consults and transfers.
• Document patient care in Epic.
