Job summary

adelphimedicalstaffing seeks an experienced OB/GYN for a locum tenens assignment in Cape Girardeau, MO (63701). Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in inpatient/outpatient settings, including high-risk pregnancies and C-sections, with 24-hour call rotation at 1:3, and clinic coverage 20 days per month.

The position requires BC in OB/GYN, universal license, and certifications BLS/ACLS/ATLS; Epic EMR; support staff; malpractice insurance; and an ASAP–July 1, 2027 coverage window.

Qualifications

• Board-certified obstetricians/gynecologists.
• Licensed to practice in Missouri or eligible with IMLC.
• BLS, ACLS and ATLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care including low- and high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures including C-sections and major cases.
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation in a 1:3 ratio for OB/GYN emergencies.
• Deliver outpatient clinic services 20 days per month in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with midwives, CRNAs and nursing staff to coordinate patient care.

• Participate in 24-hour call rotation on a 1:3 ratio for OB/GYN emergencies and patient consults
• Provide outpatient clinic services 20 days per month, managing a full spectrum of OB/GYN conditions
• Collaborate with midwives, CRNAs, RNs, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
