Job summary

adelphimedicalstaffing seeks a Board-certified OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage in Colorado Springs. You will cover 3 physicians for primary call, see and admit antepartum patients, and manage labor and delivery, including emergent cesarean sections and gynecologic surgeries.

Requirements include an active Colorado license (or Universal license), an active DEA, and ACLS, BLS and NRP certifications. Local/drive-in candidates are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Round each day and cover backup call

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Obstetrics:

• Low risk
• High risk
• FHR Interpretation (NST / CST / FSE)

Labor & Delivery:

• Routine delivery (Vaginal, low forceps, decision making for C-section)
• Complicated delivery (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.)
• VBAC's
• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Gynecology:

• Surgery gynecology - open (operative / major - includes diagnostic)
• ectopic pregnancy
• ovary removal
• cystectomy
• extensive LOA's

Other:

• Suction D&C
• Management of cesarean complications to include hysterectomy
