Clinicians will provide inpatient and emergency room obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) at an on-site facility, with initial coverage dates in November and December and ongoing dates to be determined as schedules are released. Clinical responsibilities encompass GYN emergencies and obstetric care including cesarean sections, with an average of 30 deliveries per month and an 8-bed unit. All clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment; clinicians must be willing and able to work 24-hour shifts, and the facility will not schedule clinicians for more than 2-3 consecutive day stints. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and prescriptive authority are required. In-house anesthesia is available, and RN support staff are present throughout each designated coverage period.
