Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC seeks an experienced OB/GYN to join a locum tenens assignment in Cape Girardeau, MO. The provider will manage inpatients and outpatients, handle routine and high-risk pregnancies, and participate in 24-hour call rotations as needed.

The role includes 20 clinic days per month with a 1:3 on-call ratio, beeper call type, and coverage through July 1, 2027. Epic EMR is used, with available midwife and CRNA support to ensure comprehensive obstetric care.

Qualifications

• Board certification in obstetrics/gynecology required.
• State medical license or universal license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and ATLS certifications.
• Experience managing high-risk pregnancies and gynecologic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care including low- and high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform gynecologic surgical procedures including major cases.
• Participate in 24-hour call rotation on a 1:3 ratio for OB/GYN emergencies.
• Deliver and manage outpatient clinics 20 days per month in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with midwives, CRNAs, RNs, and support staff for coordinated care.
