Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring per-diem Medical Assistants to support our Swampscott, MA sites, with shifts Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm. The primary location is 383 Paradise Rd, Swampscott, MA, with satellite sites in nearby towns.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Licenses/credentials: BLS preferred; CMA preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years direct MA or medical field work required.
• Skills: strong interpersonal, communication, and EHR proficiency essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, take vital signs, record measurements and vitals in the medical record.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to support efficient care.
• Explain procedures and instructions to patients; provide education materials as needed.
• Perform general office duties and act as liaison with departments while maintaining patient focus.
• Collect specimens when trained and maintain inventory of supplies and vaccines.
