Mass General Brigham is hiring a per-diem Medical Assistant to join our high-volume OB/GYN teams in Swampscott and Danvers. The role supports clinical and non-clinical tasks during weekday shifts, 8:00am–5:00pm, on-site.
You will contribute to a collaborative care team, assist with vital signs, patient flow, and charting, and help ensure a smooth patient experience. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Medical Assisting is preferred.

Job Summary We're hiring a per-diem Medical Assistant to join our high-volume OBGYN teams! This is an opportunity to pick up weekday shifts at our Swampscott and Danvers locations during operating hours, 8:00am-5:00pm. In this role, you'll help fill staffing gaps caused by call-outs, vacations, leaves, and vacancies. It’s a unique opportunity to work independently at the top of your certification while contributing to a highly collaborative care team. As an OB/GYN office, our obstetricians and gynecologists provide high-quality conscientious care to our patients, including annual check-ups, pre-and postnatal care, and sophisticated gynecologic surgery. Many of our physicians are specially trained in performing minimally invasive procedures. The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care. Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - preferred
