Mercyhealth Burchard Hills- Freeport, IL seeks a Medical Assistant to provide both clinical and administrative support in a busy OB/GYN clinic. You will room patients, collect data, assist with exams and lab work, and help with scheduling, referrals, billing and chart maintenance.

The role requires graduation from an ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited program, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and preferred clinical rotation experience. 40-hour weeks, onsite schedule, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited medical assisting program.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Experience or training in a clinical rotation preferred.

Aufgaben

• Room patients, collect assessment data, and prepare patient for exams.
• Assist in examinations, treatments and laboratory procedures.
• Schedule appointments and enter dates into the scheduler; conduct reminder calls.
• Greet patients and visitors; register patients and update records.
• Coordinate referrals and collect payments; maintain charts and supplies.
