Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support an OB/GYN clinic with diverse clinical and administrative tasks. The role includes preparing patients for exams, obtaining specimens, basic lab work, and phlebotomy under physician supervision, plus light front-office duties.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification, and CMA/RMA/CCMA credentials or one year of clinical experience if uncertified. Travel to Addison, Elmhurst, Hinsdale, Lombard is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR BLS certification required.
• Certification/registration as CMA, RMA or CCMA preferred or at least 1 year of clinical experience if not certified.

Responsibilities

• MA performs select clinical tasks to support a busy OB/GYN clinic, including patient prep, specimen collection, basic lab tests and record keeping; may perform phlebotomy and administer selected medications under supervision; handles clerical duties.
