Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists in Tulsa, OK is seeking an OBGYN Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a busy practice. The role is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with starting pay at $16.00 per hour, depending on experience in our specialty.

Requirements include at least two years of recent experience (OB/GYN preferred) and proof of current certification or registration with resume. Duties cover patient transport, data entry in the EHR, assisting with exams, and maintaining exam rooms.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in the last 5 years (OB/GYN preferred).
• Must have proof of current certification or registration and provide with resume.

Responsibilities

• Escort patient to and from exam room.
• Records patient data in EHR at each visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies & medication changes.
• Obtains all necessary consents prior to treatment or procedure.
• Assist provider with exams and procedures - knowledge of GYN procedures, Nexplanon & IUDs.
• Schedules surgeries, patient referrals, and appointments as required.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms & procedure rooms.
• Follows all exam & treatment room disinfections, OSHA and HIPAA protocols.
• Cleaning and processing of instruments and equipment as needed.
• Trained to give injections.
• Maintain efficient patient flow.
• Displays excellent customer service, verbal & written communication and attention to detail.
