New England Women’s Healthcare in Massachusetts is seeking a full-time Lab Coordinator/Phlebotomist for a busy OB/GYN practice. The role involves coordinating daily laboratory operations, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and in-house testing in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, with clinical lab experience and preference for OB/GYN/women’s health exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Phlebotomy experience of at least 2 years.
• Clinical lab experience required.
• OBGYN/women's healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, ensure compliance and daily lab operations.
• Obtain patient specimens for testing via blood draws and other methods.
• Handle specimen collection, processing and in-house testing.
• Follow lab procedures for handling, testing, reporting and records.
• Enter test results into EMR accurately.
• Maintain quality control records and instrument calibrations.
• Maintain proficiency testing records.
