Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our well-established program at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado—south of Denver. This is a fully inpatient role with flexible scheduling, including 12- and 24-hour shifts, in a high-quality care model with strong multidisciplinary collaboration.

We offer a $30K sign-on bonus plus $10K relocation, comprehensive benefits, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN hospitalist required.
• Experience in inpatient obstetric care and labor/delivery management preferred.
• Strong collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, nursing teams and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 in-house coverage for labor and delivery.
• Evaluate OB triage and admissions; manage labor, fetal monitoring and delivery.
• Respond to OB/GYN emergencies and urgent care needs.
• Attend deliveries and assist with cesarean sections.
• Care for high-risk and unassigned patients; conduct OB consults in ED/inpatient units.
• Collaborate with MFM specialists, private OB/GYNs and APPs; participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our well-established program at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado—just south of Denver.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a collaborative, high-quality hospitalist program committed to delivering exceptional care to mothers and babies in a dynamic, supportive environment.

About The Practice

• Established OB/GYN hospitalist program within Sky Ridge Medical Center
• 24/7 in-house OB/GYN hospitalist coverage to support labor and delivery patients
• Collaborative model with:
• Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists available onsite and via 24/7 consults
• Perinatal nurse practitioners and experienced L&D nursing teams
• Focus on enhancing patient safety, reducing delays in emergent care, and improving outcomes

Key Responsibilities Of OB/GYN Hospitalist

• Provide 24/7 in-house coverage for labor & delivery
• Evaluate and manage patients in:
• OB triage and admissions
• Labor management and fetal monitoring
• Respond to OB/GYN emergencies and urgent care needs
• Perform delivery attendance and surgical assists, including cesarean sections
• Provide care for unassigned and high-risk patients
• Conduct OB/GYN consults in the ED and inpatient units
• Collaborate closely with:
• Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
• Private OB/GYN physicians
• Advanced practice providers
• Participate in quality, safety, and patient care initiatives
