Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is hiring a Practice Registered Nurse for the OBGYN clinic in Kalamazoo, MI. This full-time role requires providing general nursing care, assessing patients, and educating patients and families under a provider's direction.

Responsibilities include triage, assisting with procedures, coordinating tests and referrals, and maintaining accurate documentation. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential; BLS and MI RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Michigan in good standing required; BLS certification required.
• Diploma/Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; 6–12 months healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills; ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care under a provider’s direction for the practice.
• Record vital signs, initial patient assessment, and patient history.
• Educate patients and families about medications, treatment and referrals.
• Triage calls and determine appointment urgency; assist with minor procedures.
• Prepare patients for examinations and document results in the medical record.
• Coordinate tests, admissions, referrals, and prescription requests.
• Performs point-of-care tests and maintains accurate data in records.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and understand insurance/referral policies.
