Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an OB/GYN in Kansas to serve as a central provider delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across the life span. You will diagnose, treat, and manage pregnancies, perform surgeries, and guide preventive women’s health and family planning with patient education.

The role offers a premium compensation package, including starting bonus and relocation support to facilitate a smooth transition and immediate contribution to patient care.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree required.
  • Residency or fellowship completed in OB/GYN or related specialty.
  • Board certification or eligibility as required by Hospital.
  • Unrestricted DEA registration.
  • Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system.
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state.

Responsibilities

  • Provide central OB/GYN care across life stages and manage pregnancies.
  • Perform gynecologic evaluations, diagnose conditions, and perform surgical procedures.

Job Summary And Responsibilities As our OB/GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist), you will be a central and cornerstone provider in our physician-facing organization, delivering comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered medical and surgical care to women across all ages and stages of life. This vital role is critical in promoting long-term women's health, wellness, and managing a broad spectrum of acute, chronic, and emergent gynecological and obstetrical conditions, profoundly impacting the health outcomes of women and families in our Kansas communities. Every day you will conduct thorough patient evaluations, leveraging your expertise to accurately diagnose and expertly treat a wide array of gynecological issues, manage pregnancies, and perform surgical interventions. You will provide essential preventive women's health care, guide patients through reproductive health maintenance and family planning strategies, and empower them with crucial patient education. Your responsibilities will also include adeptly managing complex obstetrical cases, performing a variety of surgical procedures, and strategically coordinating care with specialists, all while diligently building lasting patient relationships. You will meticulously document all encounters, communicate effectively with patients, and ensure strict adherence to evidence-based guidelines, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide essential preventive women's health, reproductive health guidance, family planning, patient education, and meticulously document all encounters in adherence to standards.
  • Adeptly manage complex obstetrical cases, perform diverse surgical procedures, and strategically coordinate care with specialists while building lasting patient relationships.

We believe in compensating our talent exceptionally well. For this critical role, we're offering a premium compensation package totaling $534,058 annually. This includes a valuable starting bonus to recognize your immediate contribution and comprehensive relocation support designed to alleviate the complexities of moving, allowing you to focus on success from day one.

Required
  • Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) registration;
  • Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
  • Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
  • Doctorate MD or DO required
  • DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required
