Job summary

Ascension Medical Group Via Christi in Wichita, KS seeks a board-certified/board-eligible OBGYN to join a busy outpatient practice. You will work with an experienced team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs, providing high-quality obstetric and gynecology care in a supportive, mission-driven health system.

The role offers a full-time schedule with RVU incentives, a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Kansas or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Join an established team of physicians and APPs with a strong referral base.
• Provide outpatient obstetric/gynecology care.
• Lead efforts to improve quality and cost-effectiveness of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain state license and DEA registration.

This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated OBGYN physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• Join an established team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs

• Call structure: 1:6 EMTALA/Gynecology only

• Practice setting: Outpatient

• Access to Robotics for Gynecology cases.

• Employed position within a nonprofit health system

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN

• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

• Lead collaborative efforts to continuously improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of care delivered, contributing to system-wide excellence.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships by accepting patient referrals from internal and external physician colleagues. About the Facility

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
