Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers is seeking a fellowship trained Obesity physician to lead the Comprehensive Obesity Program. The Medical Director will provide clinical and strategic oversight for a multidisciplinary program focused on medical weight management and lifestyle medicine.

This position includes direct patient care and collaboration with various healthcare providers. Qualified candidates must have experience in obesity care and a strong leadership background.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience treating obesity and obesity-related conditions.
• Leadership, administrative, or program development experience preferred.
• American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, administrative, and strategic oversight for obesity medicine program.
• Lead collaborative team for patient-centered care.
• Coordinate referrals and interpret data for program improvement.
