Job summary

Amgen Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Medical Science Liaison specializing in obesity to be the primary scientific resource for opinion leaders and healthcare providers. This field-based role reports to the Obesity MSL Field Director and covers the Cleveland territory.

You will engage investigators, present data, support sponsored research, and lead congress activities while training speakers. A doctoral degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required.
• Master’s degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. preferred; other doctoral degrees considered.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership.
• Engage with investigators/sites to support obesity pipeline and communicate scientific data.
