Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Columbus, Indiana is seeking an experienced control systems engineer with strong MATLAB/Simulink skills. The role focuses on model-based development, debugging, and auto code generation for engine and powertrain applications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with MIL/SIL testing, Polyspace, and calibration tuning, plus familiarity with OBD tuning and test planning. Knowledge of Windchill/ClearCase is a plus and open-loop bench testing will be used.

Qualifications

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink development and debugging for control systems.
• Capable in MATLAB scripting, Simulink and stateflow.
• Experience with MIL/SIL and Polyspace Testing.
• Calterm and Polyspace Testing experience.
• Experience in combustion and emission tuning.
• Aftertreatment/DOC/SCR/PFS/Diagnostic Software experience preferred.
• Windchill and ClearCase understanding.
• Experience in OBD 3 Step Tuning, Cross Tools, Test plan writing, Calibration tuning would be added advantage.
• Requirements management.
• Demonstrable capability in MATLAB/Simulink to develop/maintain/test/debug algorithms involved in development of typical control systems (like lookup tables, filters, PI/D loops, timers/counters, fixed point arithmetic).
• Testing on open loop test benches.
• Debugging/problem solving skills.
• Auto code generation and build process.
• Unit Testing/Integration Testing/HIL Testing.
• Good Knowledge of Fuel System and Air Handling system, Performance features, Customer Feature, Cruise Control, ADAS domain experience, Powertrain Automotive Experience
