Job summary

A leading technology company is seeking a Controls Developer with strong MATLAB/Simulink skills. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and debugging algorithms for control systems, creating test vectors, and maintaining testing protocols. Candidates should have 3 to 8 years of experience and a degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Experience with automotive systems, particularly regarding Fuel and Air Handling, is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle a team are required.

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in controls development.
• Experience with requirements management at functional and system levels.
• Good knowledge in Fuel and Air Handling systems, Performance features, Cruise Control, and Powertrain Automotive.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, test, and debug algorithms for control systems.
• Create test vectors to achieve Maximum MCDC.
• Participate in testing on open loop test benches.
• Handle team management responsibilities.

• Good with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow Model in Loop
• Capability in MATLAB scripting, Simulink and stateflow
• Test Vector Creation to achieve Maximum MCDC
• MIL (Using test sequence), SIL, HTesting, Polyspace (Code Prover & Bug Finder) Experience
• Testing on open loop test benches
• Windchill and Clearcase understanding
• Requirements management – functional and system level.
• Demonstrable capability in MATLAB/Simulink to develop/maintain/test/debug algorithms involved in development of typical control systems (like lookup tables, filters, PI/PD loops, timers/counters, fixed point arithmetic)
• Debugging/problem solving skills
• Auto code generation and build process
• Good Knowledge of Fuel System and Air Handling system, Performance features, Customer Feature, Cruise Control, ADAS domain experience, Powertrain Automotive Experience
• Excellent communication and client facing experience
