Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking an On-Board Diagnostic Calibration Engineer to develop new OBD strategies for gas engine control systems. You will review designs, generate test plans, and manage vehicle/test-bench resources while developing and validating calibrations for propulsion programs.

The role requires collaboration with hardware, controls and software teams, and the ability to guide instrumentation and analyze INCA data to ensure diagnostic behavior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in OBD or emissions calibration or controls.
• Proficient using INCA, Matlab and Simulink/Stateflow.
• Basic understanding of internal combustion engine propulsion system hardware and function.
• Willingness to travel 1–4 weeks per year for validation.
• Valid Driver License.
• Willingness to work in-vehicle and climatic test environments.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new OBD strategies for gas engine control systems.
• Review system and software designs and generate test plans.
• Manage vehicle/test-bench/virtual resources and calibrations.
• Develop and validate compliant calibrations for propulsion programs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, controls, software, and test teams.
• Guide instrumentation and analyze data from INCA to ensure diagnostic behavior.
• Plan milestones and ensure on-time product launches.
• Support system validation and verification activities.
