Job summary

Stellantis Chelsea, MI is seeking an On-Board Diagnostic Calibration Engineer to develop diagnostic strategies for electric, engine, and hybrid propulsion systems. You will review designs, create test plans, and manage testing resources to develop calibrations for future propulsion programs.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with hardware, controls and software teams, and the ability to guide instrumentation and analyze data from INCA to ensure correct diagnostic behavior.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Diagnostics or emissions calibration or controls.
• Experience with Electrified Propulsion System Controls.
• Proficient using INCA, MATLAB and Simulink/Stateflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop diagnostic strategies for electric, engine, and hybrid propulsion systems.
• Review system and software designs and generate test plans.
• Manage vehicle/test-bench/virtual resources and calibrations.
• Cross-functional collaboration with hardware, controls, software, and test teams.
• Gather functional requirements and milestones to plan development and launches.
• Utilize data from acquisition software to verify diagnostic behavior.
• Plan and execute development for on-time product launches.
