HTC Global Services is seeking an experienced OBD Calibration Engineer to support development, validation, and delivery of production-ready OBD calibrations across gasoline, diesel, HEV, and BEV applications.

You will collaborate with engineering, program, and compliance teams to deliver robust diagnostic solutions while meeting regulatory and program requirements. Hybrid work arrangement with four days in the office.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 2 years of powertrain/OBD calibration experience including program delivery through launch.
• Understanding of combustion engine operation and powertrain control systems.
• Knowledge of worldwide OBD regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with calibration tools such as ETAS and/or ATI.
• Experience in vehicle emissions testing and OBD design verification.

Responsabilités

• Develop expertise in major OBD monitors and diagnostic systems.
• Deliver OBD calibrations, DV signoffs, and program deliverables on schedule.
• Support OBD feature calibration and vehicle testing with data collection and processing.
• Analyze data to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions.
• Develop data-processing scripts to enable efficient analysis and establish performance measures.
• Improve calibration processes and documentation, including guidelines and templates.
• Collaborate with HIL/SIL/M-HIL/CAE teams on diagnostic demonstrations.
• Support OBD sensitivity validation and remote testing as needed.
• Assist with PVE design verification fault demonstrations and related processes.
• Prepare OBD calibration communications and technical documentation.
