Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic exams and invasive procedures per established standards. You will provide patient imaging services including OB ultrasound for high-risk pregnancies under Maternal Fetal Medicine guidance.

The ideal candidate has ARDMS registration, a diagnostic medical sonography education, and at least one year of OB ultrasound experience, with certifications such as Nuchal translucency and a goal to obtain fetal echo

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited program.
• 1 year OB ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS registered.
• Nuchal translucency certification within one year of onboarding.
• Commitment to attaining Fetal Echo Credential within three years of onboarding.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures per standards.
• Provides imaging services including OB ultrasound for inpatient high-risk pregnancies under Maternal Fetal Medicine.
