Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Medical Sonographer to join its maternal-fetal medicine team. You will operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and invasive procedures in a high‑risk obstetric setting, delivering imaging results to clinicians in real time.

The role requires completion of an AMA or JRCERT accredited program, ARDMS certification, and BCLS, with Nuchal translucency within 1 year and Fetal Echo credential preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• In Lieu of above, equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required.
• 1 year of OB ultrasound experience Preferred.
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS Registered Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• Nuchal Translucency certification within 1 Year Required
• Fetal Echo Credential within 1 Year Preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities, including high-risk OB ultrasounds.

Education
