OSF HealthCare is seeking an OB Technician to support patient care on the hospital unit. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing care to patients and their families across the life span and performing scrub duties related to cesarean deliveries.

Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY: The OB Technician performs any combination of the following duties in the care of patients in the hospital, under direction of a Registered Nurse. Provides care for patients and family/significant others across the life span based on physical, psycho-social, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to the age of patients served in the patient care unit. Responsibilities will include direct patient/family contact, departmental duties, material management, communication and departmental housekeeping. Follows and understands the standards and recommended practices according to department standards. The OB Technician is responsible for scrub duties assigned for cesarean section deliveries as well as occasional vaginal deliveries.
