Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking an OB Certified Surgical Technologist/Technician to join our Labor and Delivery team. This role is pivotal in ensuring quality patient care during surgical procedures and involves preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.

You will handle instruments and anticipate the surgeon’s needs while participating in various duties throughout the surgical process. The ideal candidate will have completed an approved Surgical Technologist Program and possess necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist Program.
• National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA) or NCCT certification required.
• Medical Technician License from the State of New Hampshire unless other current NH state license is held.

Responsibilities

• Handles instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures.
• Maintains the sterile field and anticipates the needs of the surgeon.
• Participates in patient verification during surgical procedures.
