Alaska Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Obstetric Surgical Technologist to support obstetric procedures, prepare the surgical suite, and assist the team to deliver newborns safely with compassionate care.

The role offers training and mentorship, predictable scheduling with on-call support, and clear pathways for growth within a leading healthcare network.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• NRP must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• No travel required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Provide instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instruments and equipment function properly.
• Work closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Your responsibilities will include

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience

What qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
