Job summary

Highmark Health's Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for the OB unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) with Level II NICU responsibilities in the Pittsburgh area. The unit operates with 1 OR, 10 labor beds, 8 postpartum beds, 5 triage beds, and about 70–100 births per month.

The RN will provide leadership, coordinate care using the nursing process, promote patient safety, and participate in interdisciplinary teams and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• PA RN licensure required.
• eNLC multi-state licensure preferred.
• Certification in obstetric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordinate care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Support 70–100 births per month and NICU coverage as assigned.
