Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• RN license is required.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• 1+ OB/ED/L&D nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with newborn care at deliveries, providing immediate care and support to newborns during and after delivery.
• Maintain neonatal resuscitation skills to respond effectively in emergencies.
• Demonstrate assessment skills in obstetrical patients to identify risks.
• Identify and report maternal and newborn problems to the physician promptly.
• Assist with transfers of newborns to other facilities when indicated.
