Job summary

Texas Health Mansfield is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Neonatal care on the night shift. You will assist with deliveries, provide immediate newborn support, and maintain resuscitation readiness. Thorough assessments and timely reporting to physicians are essential.

Required: Associate Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and BLS/NRP certifications. Bachelor’s degree and NICU experience are preferred. 2300 Lonestar Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure required (RN).
• BLS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide newborn care at deliveries and immediate post-delivery support.
• Maintain neonatal resuscitation skills for emergencies.
• Assess high- and low-risk obstetrical patients and identify issues.
• Identify and report maternal/newborn problems to physicians promptly.
• Assist with safe transfers of newborns to other facilities when indicated.
• Accurately document care activities and banding of newborns/mothers.
