Job summary

Corewell Health South – Lakeland Hospitals is seeking an inpatient Float Registered Nurse to cover St. Joseph, Niles, and Watervliet campuses. This full-time night shift role involves assignments determined by staffing needs across three locations.

You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, partnering with patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes under the direction of the Nurse Leader. A Michigan RN license and current BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing must be completed within five years.
• Graduates from a non-accredited nursing program must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed health care role and must pass the NCLEX.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader to assess, plan, implement, and discharge care.
• Document education and learning appropriately in health records and communicate with patients and families.
