Job summary

Avita Health System in Ontario, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the OB Department. The role provides comprehensive nursing care and coordinates across shifts with nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.

Required: Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP within specified timelines. Preferred: 2+ years OB experience and C-EFM certification. Avita offers competitive wages, benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
BLS Certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
ACLS Certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
NRP Certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Two (2) or more years of OB nursing experience.
C-EFM

Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within the nursing unit.
Directly cares for patients and supervises nursing assistants, LPNs, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
Acts as patient advocate and educator, supporting Avita’s mission, vision and values.
