Job summary

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Obstetrics Operating Room (OB OR) to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care within a collaborative surgical team.

You will review patient history, perform assessments, and participate in planning and executing the care plan with multidisciplinary colleagues, ensuring safe, quality outcomes for moms and newborns.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program with Nursing Diploma, Associate or higher.
• RN license in state of practice or compact license with Texas RN license within required timelines.
• Current BCLS; ACLS and NRP within grace periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide patient care in OB OR for assigned patients.
• Review patient history and perform assessments to inform care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to implement and adjust plans of care.
