St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking an Obstetrics Operating Room Nurse Manager to lead the OR nursing team, ensure high-quality patient-centered care, and maintain regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes staffing oversight, safety, and throughput across obstetrics services.

You will guide interdisciplinary collaboration, mentor staff, and drive initiatives to improve patient experiences and outcomes in a vibrant health system setting in Texas.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Specialty certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Texas or active compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred; L&D: NRP preferred; RNC-OB preferred.
• 1+ year healthcare experience.
• 1+ year leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit operations and staffing for obstetrics/OR nursing.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care per policies and outcomes.
• Drive patient safety, quality, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory rules.
• Lead admissions/discharges for efficient throughput and care.
• Promote interdisciplinary teamwork and staff development.
