Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in VA or a compact state.
• Completed BSN.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing practice.
• Two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently pursuing MSN.
• Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the assigned clinical setting.
• Provide guidance for students related to professionalism, practice, and research.
• Select and organize learning activities to attain course objectives.
• Ensure effective evaluations of student practice.
• Promote evidence‑based practice.
• Provide a supportive learning environment by giving feedback on student progress to supervisory personnel.
• Collaborate with other faculty, administration, and healthcare partner staff.
• Attend all required orientation, training, and faculty meetings.
